Your awakening in Tuscany will be accompanied by a rich breakfast based on fresh and seasonal products, in the calm and quiet of a farmhouse in the countryside.
The morning will begin with a Tuscan cooking class at the farmhouse, where you will learn how to cook a Tuscan menu inspired by traditional local recipes. You will learn how to make hand-made pici, sauces, appetizers and desserts. The course will be held by a housewife from Valdichiana, who will share with you the secrets of traditional cuisine, anecdotes and cooking advice in a pleasant moment of personal enrichment.
At the end of the experience, you will taste the dishes you prepared for lunch.
In the afternoon you will be heading to Montepulciano for a guided tour of the historic center and you will get to know the eternal charm of the 16th century Pearl. During your visit, you will enjoy a coffee break at Palazzo Avignonesi Caffetteria, an elegant bar where Tuscan pastry blends with the innovation of contemporary bakery. And then you cannot miss a visit to one of the eight underground cellars: the uniqueness of Montepulciano are its historic cellars within the medieval walls, where winemaking still takes place today. You will visit one of them and you will certainly be fascinated by the architecture and the quality of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG that you will taste.
The day ends with a dinner in one of the restaurants in the historic center, with a three-course menu accompanied by local wines.

The morning will begin with harvesting wild herbs in the hills between the Valdichiana and Val d’Orcia. You will learn about the medicinal and nutritional properties of spontaneous plants. You will collect endemic herbs of the Senese and Amiata area. At the end of the experience, a lunch based on dishes of the ancient tradition with aromatic herbs will await you.
In the afternoon you will be heading to Petroio, where you will get to know the true meaning of the word community. Here, a fresh pasta course awaits you with the local ladies who, during the village festivals, gather in the alleys of the town to prepare fresh pasta: pici, tagliatelle, gnocchi and ravioli. Together with them you will participate in a therapeutic lesson of fresh pasta making by learning this refined art.
While waiting for dinner, you will participate in an extra virgin olive oil tasting lesson in one of the panoramic terraces of the village of Petroio. Trequanda and its small villages are dedicated to the production of high quality extra virgin olive oil. During the educational course you will learn the properties of this precious product, the best combinations in the kitchen and some curious tasting techniques.
The time has come to taste the pasta prepared during the cooking class.

You will meet Puscina Flower’s Laura and Teresa, who have opened one of the ten flower factories in Italy. In the Puscina Flower garden you will participate in a floral design experience. You will choose the flowers and foliage necessary for your floral arrangement. You will learn the basic techniques of cutting and preserving the cut flower and the secrets to create a completely sustainable floral composition. At the end of the experience, a refreshing drink awaits you, along with a light lunch based on plate of seasonal products, cured meats, Tuscan cheeses and vegetables.
In the afternoon, you will go on a bike tour among the most beautiful hills in the world, that will end in a farmhouse where you will participate in an unusual and curious vegan cooking class.

At the cheese factory you will participate in a cheese making class during which you will discover all the secrets of dairy art. The activity will open with a visit to the cheese factory, from the stable to the area where the processing and the seasoning phase takes place. At the end of the tour you will get to the heart of the cheese making class together with the dairy master.
To follow, a three-course lunch on the farm with an appetizer, first course, selection of cheese and dessert.
After visiting the cheese factory, it is time to visit Pienza, the ideal city of the Renaissance. During the guided tour, you will discover the history of the village and the most beautiful views of the Val d’Orcia. You will also have some free time to go shopping.
Dinner at the accommodation.
You will experience cooking in its natural environment: the restaurant. On the morning of the sixth day you will meet a professional chef who will welcome you in the kitchen of her restaurant, sharing her history, passions and best dishes. You will cook elaborate traditional dishes, experimenting with ingredients and recipes. Lunch will be a moment of exchange with the rest of the group, between one dish and the other you will be able to share your sensations and cooking tricks.
Tuscan wines will accompany your last afternoon in Tuscany to celebrate the journey and your new friends. You will visit a winery producing Vino Nobile di Montepulciano where you will appreciate the architecture of the wine and the quality of the product.
