Valdichiana Senese: a cracking end to 2023 and a fabulous welcome to 2024!

Initiatives for all tastes, including theater performances, DJ sets, live music, flaming pyres and concerts

Between December 31 and January 1, Valdichiana Senese offers many initiatives to say goodbye to the old year and welcome 2024. Here are some great ideas!

Cetona

The spacious Piazza Garibaldi greets the arrival of the new year with the 80/90/00 dance of DJ Ferdy's vinyls. Appointment in the town of the Rock starting at 11:30 p.m. with free admission.

Chianciano Terme

The spa town welcomes 2024 on Jan. 1 with the New Year's Concert at 6 p.m. at the Excelsior Convention Center "Ennio Morricone Tribute." The music is by Ennio Morricone arranged by Francesco Oliveto and played by Livorno's Teatro Goldoni Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Paolo Ponziano Ciardi and pop soprano Claudia Basile.

Chiusi

The historic center of Chiusi with the central Piazza Duomo will come alive with the "Etruscan New Year's Eve." From 10:30 p.m. the evening will be warmed by the lit pyre and music that will kick off with DjLoky from 11 p.m. Three drinkbar stations will be set up.

Montepulciano

In Piazza Grande the traditional New Year's Eve evening: before dinner, DJ set at 6 p.m. and then music will resume at 10:30 p.m. until midnight with the Ballantine Band and the voice of Cecilia Quadrenni. To follow, DJ set in the Piazza.

San Casciano dei Bagni

In San Casciano dei Bagni, on the other hand, the splendid setting of the Collegiate Church of San Leonardo will be the setting for the striking New Year's Concert scheduled for January 1 at 5 p.m.

Sarteano

The Compagnia Teatrale degli Arrischianti presents New Year's Eve in the theater with the show "Il Silenzio Grande" by Maurizio De Giovanni, with direction and scenes by Gabriele Valentini. Appointment on Dec. 31 at 10 p.m., with a toast at midnight.
