In the heart of Montepulciano, in the Renaissance Piazza Grande, behind the Pozzo dei Grifi e dei Leoni, is Palazzo del Capitano, the ancient courthouse of Montepulciano, once the seat of the prisons. Inside, behind an ancient wooden door that opens on the right side of the main corridor, the stairs that arrive to La Bottega. Here you find the historic open-air cloister and a timeless atmosphere.
