Day 1 – Saturday, October 19, 2024
After your arrival and check-in at a comfortable farmhouse in Tuscany, you can take part in the famous Festa dell'Olio Novo in Trequanda. In the morning, enjoy a guided tasting of extra virgin olive oil hosted by AICOO – National Association for Olive Oil Knowledge, where you'll learn how to recognize the characteristics and benefits of the finest Tuscan oil. Stroll through the historic streets of the village and visit the local market, where Tuscan extra virgin olive oil producers will welcome you with their freshly crafted products. The day will conclude with a traditional Tuscan dinner, where the authentic flavors of the region, enhanced by local olive oil, will give you an unforgettable culinary experience.
Day 2 – Sunday, October 20, 2024
The second day of your weekend in Tuscany will be devoted to a food and wine experience at a winery in Valdichiana Senese. During the visit, you’ll discover the process of Tuscan wine and olive oil production, followed by a tasting of fine wines and extra virgin olive oil, accompanied by a traditional Tuscan lunch. A perfect way to wrap up a relaxing weekend filled with the flavors and scents of Tuscany.
