260th Anniversary Celebrations of the Accession of Pietro Leopoldo as Grand Duke of Tuscany

In 1765, Pietro Leopoldo of Habsburg-Lorraine was installed as Grand Duke of Tuscany, ushering in a season of reforms that profoundly shaped the history of our region. 260 years later, his legacy is being celebrated with a rich program of initiatives at the Grand Ducal Estate of Dolciano, in Chiusi. Guided tours, educational workshops, trekking, and theatrical events will offer the public the opportunity to rediscover the innovative spirit of Tuscan Enlightenment and the deep ties between territory, history, and community.
